The Island’s Ultimate Angler Photo Contest Official Rules
Starting Friday May 31st at 5pm thru Saturday July 27th at 11:59 p.m., listeners may register for the contest at 1077theisland.com. After registering, users can upload one (1) fishing photo. Photo can be of anyone or anything to do with fishing. Users must be 18 years of age or older to register and win the prize. The decision of 107.7 The Island KSYZ-FM management regarding whether or not to post a photo submitted for the contest is final.
Starting Sunday July 28th 12am, registered users may vote up to 5 times per day for their favorite fishing photo during the voting period which ends Saturday August 3rd at 11:59 p.m.
Winner will be announced on air Monday August 5th at 12 Noon.
Prize. The registered user who submitted the photo that received the most votes before the end of the voting period will win an escape to the Boundary Waters of northern Minnesota. Up to six people can relax for a three-night stay during the week in a three bedroom cabin in the splendor of Ballard’s Resort, with breakfasts included. No Friday or Saturday night stays. Call Ballard’s Resort for availability and reservation. Prize must be used by October 31st, 2013. Prize certificate may be claimed at the KSYZ studios, 3532 West Capital Avenue, Grand Island, NE 68803 or call 308-381-1077 to make alternate arrangements for delivery. Prize value is $1,194.00.

Winners will be notified by email. If a winner has not responded to the email notification within seven (7) days of the prize being announced, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, KSYZ may dispose of prize at its discretion, including selecting an alternate winner. KSYZ-FM reserves the right to substitute any prize with another prize of equal or greater value. Prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. No substitution or cash equivalent will be made.
Winners must provide proof of age, photo identification, and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded. Station reserves the right to deny awarding the prize if the winner fails to provide satisfactory identification, as determined in Station’s sole discretion.
Failure to execute any required documents or comply with any of the terms will result in forfeiture of the prize.
Odds of winning depend on number of photos submitted and number of votes received.
Automated voting of any kind is not allowed. Detection of said automated voting will lead to votes being voided.
Only one registered account per voter. If multiple accounts are detected for a single voter, they will be disabled and votes disqualified.
KSYZ-FM reserves the right to restrict the local winners to only persons whose primary residence is within a 60 mile radius of the affiliate's studio.
Employees of KSYZ-FM, its respective parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising sponsors and promotional agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible.
Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest.
Entrants further grant to KSYZ-FM the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.
KSYZ-FM reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.
The Contest and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, UPICKEM, and/or KSYZ-FM. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes or additional costs associated with the prize and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9. Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received. Winner will received a IRS Form 1099 at the end of the calendar year.
This contest is not intended for gambling. If it is determined that a contestant is using the contest for gambling purposes they will be disqualified and reported to authorities.
